Residents have raised concerns about vehicle speeds on our streets. The board is actively evaluating traffic-calming options and their tradeoffs:

Option	Considerations
Portable speed bumps	Low cost, removable for winter/plowing; less durable, can shift.
Anchored speed bumps	Permanent and effective; plowing implications, drainage, placement is forever.
Radar feedback signs	Proven to slow most drivers without physical infrastructure; higher upfront cost.
Speed cushions	Slow cars while letting emergency vehicles straddle; middle-ground cost.
